Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Teiwah ("Teiwah", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website at teiwah.cloud and the Teiwah WhatsApp messaging API (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Who we are
Teiwah is an independent service operated by a sole proprietor based in Israel. You can reach us at support@teiwah.cloud.
Teiwah is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc.
Information we collect
Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) processes your email address and, optionally, your name. We use this to create and secure your account.
Session information. When you connect a WhatsApp number, we store the connected phone number, the webhook URL you configure, and a short, non-sensitive suffix of your API key so you can recognize it in the dashboard. We do not store your full API key in plain text.
Message data. To deliver the Service, inbound WhatsApp messages are passed through our infrastructure and forwarded to the webhook URL you control. We do not retain the contents of your messages in our database; message content lives only transiently in memory during delivery.
Billing information. Payments are processed by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Lemon Squeezy shares limited order information with us (such as your email, country, and subscription status) so we can provision and manage your account.
Usage data. Like most online services, we automatically collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, for security and to operate and improve the Service.
How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To create and manage your account and connected sessions.
- To process payments and manage your subscription (via Lemon Squeezy).
- To respond to your support requests.
- To monitor security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- To improve the Service.
Service providers we use
We rely on the following third parties to operate the Service. Each processes only the data needed for its function:
- Clerk — authentication and account management.
- Lemon Squeezy — payments, subscriptions, and tax handling as Merchant of Record.
- Supabase — database hosting for account and session records.
- Cloudflare — edge networking, DNS, and security.
- Hetzner — server infrastructure for running sessions.
Data retention
We retain account and session records for as long as your account is active. When you delete a session or close your account, we remove the associated records, subject to any legal obligation to retain certain data.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including not storing full API keys in plain text. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at support@teiwah.cloud.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure your data is handled in accordance with this Policy.
Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
